Racil graduated from ISAE-SUPAERO with an aerospace engineering degree, following a rigorous scientific preparatory curriculum at Lycée Saint-Louis in Paris.
He first spent a year and a half in private equity across Africa with SPE Capital, where he contributed to investment activities and portfolio monitoring. He then joined Strategy& in Paris, advising senior executives of major industrial groups for two years on matters spanning corporate strategy, operational excellence and large-scale transformation.
He has operated across a broad spectrum of industrial sectors — including steel, rail, aeronautics, chemicals, oil & gas and nuclear energy — conducting market assessments, strategic and operational due diligences, long-term strategic plans and industrial-transformation programmes.
Racil now works as an independent strategy consultant specializing in heavy industry and energy, operating primarily across the Middle East and Europe.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Racil is passionate about football, mountain photography and triathlon. He has also served as a volunteer firefighter.
